Michael Insurance Planning was founded in Lebanon, Ohio in 1975 by Jerry W. Michael, CLU with one clear purpose: to help small and mid-sized businesses offer medical insurance with benefit packages that compete with larger employers - delivered through face-to-face guidance and ongoing local support.

Jerry earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1978, solidifying the agency's commitment to professional excellence and comprehensive insurance knowledge. For over four decades, he built the agency on a foundation of trust, personal service, and deep community ties.

Jeff Michael grew up in the agency, working summers throughout high school and college before joining full-time in 2006. He became a Managing Partner in 2015, and when Jerry retired in 2018, Jeff became Principal and Managing Director of the agency.

Today, the Michael Insurance Planning team serves employers and individuals throughout Lebanon, Mason, and the greater Cincinnati-Dayton area, providing expert advice, personalized service, and long-term support that clients can count on.
